1. Creating a Todario Account

To create a free Todario account, you'll need a unique username, a unique email address, and a password. Click Log in at the top of any page, then choose to register.

(Coming soon: email confirmation. Once enabled, check your spam or junk folder if the confirmation email doesn't arrive.)

2. The Todario Browser Extension

The Todario browser extension connects your browser to your Todario account, letting you:

• Save the page you're viewing to your JumpGo with a single click
• Import your browser's existing bookmarks into your JumpGo
• Jump quickly to Todario, your JumpGo, and Support

Installing the Extension

Chrome and Microsoft Edge

The Todario extension is available on the Chrome Web Store for both Chrome and Edge. Search the Chrome Web Store for "Todario," or install it directly: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/paejddgaojfobbinbkdpigpnpiaicojf

1. Open the link above and click Add to Chrome. (In Edge, click Get. The first time you install from the Chrome Web Store, Edge will ask you to allow extensions from other stores — choose Allow.)
2. Confirm by clicking Add extension.
3. If you don't see the Todario "T" icon next to your address bar, click the Extensions (puzzle-piece) icon in your toolbar and pin Todario.

Other browsers (Firefox, Safari, and others)

The Todario extension isn't available for other browsers yet. In the meantime, you can still use JumpGo fully: import your bookmarks by uploading an exported bookmarks file (see Option A: Upload a Bookmarks File) and add new bookmarks directly in JumpGo (see Bookmarks).

Connecting the Extension to Your Account

The extension needs your Todario API token to know which account to save to.

1. Log in to Todario and go to Settings.
2. Under API Token, click Generate Token (or Regenerate Token if you already have one).
3. Click Copy to copy the token.
4. Right-click the Todario extension icon and select Options.
5. Read the data notice, check the box to agree, paste your token, and click Save.

Note: regenerating your token immediately disconnects any browser still using the old one. If you use the extension in more than one browser, paste the new token into each of them.

Saving Bookmarks With the Extension

When you're on a page you want to keep, click the Todario icon in your toolbar, then click Save to JumpGo. You'll see a confirmation once it's saved. New bookmarks appear in the Unfiled folder at the top of your JumpGo, ready to organize whenever you like.

3. Getting Started With JumpGo

New to JumpGo? These steps will get you set up in a few minutes.

Set JumpGo as Your Home Page

Make JumpGo the first thing you see when you open your browser, using this address: https://www.todario.com/jumpgo/index.php

Chrome

1. Open Settings and select On startup.
2. Choose Open a specific page or set of pages, then Add a new page.
3. Enter the JumpGo address and click Add.

Microsoft Edge

1. Open Settings and select Start, home, and new tab page.
2. Under "When Edge starts," choose Open these pages, then Add a new page.
3. Enter the JumpGo address and click Add.

Firefox

1. Open Settings and select Home.
2. Next to "Homepage and new windows," choose Custom URLs from the dropdown.
3. Enter the JumpGo address.

Safari (Mac)

1. Open Safari > Settings and select General.
2. Enter the JumpGo address in the Homepage field.
3. Set "New windows open with" to Homepage (and optionally "New tabs open with" as well).

Allow Pop-ups for "Open All"

Folders with two or more bookmarks have an Open All button that opens every bookmark in the folder in its own tab. Browsers block this by default, so the first time you use it, only the first bookmark will open. To fix this, allow pop-ups for Todario once:

Chrome and Edge

1. Click Open All, then return to your JumpGo tab.
2. Click the pop-up blocked icon at the right end of the address bar.
3. Select Always allow pop-ups and redirects from www.todario.com and click Done.

Firefox

1. Click Open All, then return to your JumpGo tab.
2. Look for the notice below the address bar saying Firefox prevented this site from opening pop-up windows, and click Options.
3. Select Allow pop-ups and third-party redirects for www.todario.com.

Safari

1. Open Safari > Settings and select Websites.
2. Choose Pop-up Windows, find www.todario.com, and set it to Allow.

After allowing pop-ups, click Open All again — all bookmarks will open.

Connect the Browser Extension

If you use Chrome or Edge, install the Todario extension and add your API token so you can save pages with one click (see The Todario Browser Extension).

Import Your Existing Bookmarks

Bring your current bookmarks into JumpGo so everything is in one place (see Importing Bookmarks Into JumpGo).

4. Using JumpGo

JumpGo organizes your bookmarks in three levels: tabs contain folders, and folders contain bookmarks.

Tabs

Tabs let you group folders by context — for example Work, Home, or Research.

• Switch tabs by clicking a tab name.
• Create a tab by clicking the + at the end of the tab bar.
• Rename or delete a tab by hovering over it and clicking the pencil (edit) or X (delete) icon that appears above it.
• Reorder tabs by dragging them left or right.

The Home tab is always present and can't be renamed, moved, or deleted. When you delete a tab, its folders move to the Home tab — nothing is lost.

Folders

• Create a folder using the new folder option on the tab you want it in.
• Rename a folder or move it to another tab by clicking the pencil icon in the folder's header.
• Reorder folders by dragging a folder by its header — within a column, or into a different column.
• Move a folder to another tab by dragging: drag the folder over the name of the destination tab and hold for a moment until that tab opens, then drop the folder where you'd like it.
• Delete a folder by clicking the X icon in its header. Its bookmarks aren't deleted — they move to the Unfiled folder at the top of your Home tab.

The Unfiled folder holds bookmarks that aren't in any folder yet, such as pages saved with the browser extension. It only appears when it has bookmarks in it.

Bookmarks

There are three ways to add bookmarks:

• Manually: click the + at the bottom of any folder, enter the bookmark's address and title, and save.
• With the browser extension: click the Todario icon on any page (see Saving Bookmarks With the Extension).
• By importing: bring in your existing bookmarks all at once (see Importing Bookmarks Into JumpGo).

Managing bookmarks:

• Open a bookmark by clicking it — it opens in a new tab.
• Edit or delete a bookmark using its pencil or X icon.
• Reorder bookmarks by dragging them within a folder, or drag them into a different folder to move them.

Long bookmark titles are shortened to fit — hover over a title to see it in full.

Opening All Bookmarks in a Folder

Click Open All in a folder's header to open every bookmark in that folder at once — handy for starting your workday or returning to a project. If you're opening a large folder, you'll be asked to confirm first. (If only one bookmark opens, see Allow Pop-ups for "Open All".)

Customizing Your JumpGo

• Columns: choose whether your folders display in 3, 4, or 5 columns using the column selector on your JumpGo. Your choice applies to all tabs.
• Folder colors: click the color icon in a folder's header to choose a color scheme, making folders easy to tell apart at a glance.
• Light or dark theme: choose your preferred theme in Settings.

5. Importing Bookmarks Into JumpGo

You can bring your existing browser bookmarks into JumpGo in two ways.

Option A: Upload a Bookmarks File

This works with any browser.

1. In your browser, export your bookmarks to an HTML file using your browser's bookmark manager.
2. Log in to Todario, go to Settings, and select Import Bookmarks.
3. Upload the exported file.
4. You'll be taken to the import preview (see Reviewing and Completing an Import).

Option B: Import With the Browser Extension

Make sure you've installed and connected the extension first (see The Todario Browser Extension).

1. Right-click the Todario extension icon and select Import Bookmarks to my JumpGo.
2. If you're not logged in to Todario, you'll be asked to log in first.
3. You'll be taken to the import preview (see below).

Reviewing and Completing an Import

Whichever option you use, you'll see a preview before anything is added to your JumpGo.

1. Review how your bookmarks will be organized. Each top-level folder from your browser (such as your Bookmarks Bar) becomes its own tab in JumpGo.

   Note: browsers allow folders within folders, but JumpGo has one level of folders within each tab. Nested folders are flattened into separate folders during import, so review the preview to see exactly how your bookmarks will be arranged.

2. If the preview looks right, click Proceed. If not, click Cancel, reorganize your bookmarks in your browser, and import again.
3. Once the import is complete, rename, reorder, or reorganize your new tabs, folders, and bookmarks as you like.

Imports are added alongside your existing bookmarks, so importing the same bookmarks twice will create duplicates.

6. Troubleshooting

The extension says "Saved," but I don't see the bookmark in JumpGo.
The extension saves to whichever account its API token belongs to. If you have more than one Todario account, make sure you're logged in to the same account whose token is entered in the extension's Options. Also check the Unfiled folder on your Home tab, where new bookmarks appear.

The import preview says my import has expired or wasn't found.
Import previews are available for one hour. This message also appears if you're logged in to a different Todario account than the one connected to the extension. Log in to the correct account and start the import again.

The extension asks me to connect or agree before saving.
Open the extension's Options, check the agreement box, and make sure your API token is saved (see Connecting the Extension to Your Account). If you recently regenerated your token, paste the new one into the extension.

"Open All" only opens one bookmark.
Your browser is blocking pop-ups from Todario (see Allow Pop-ups for "Open All").

Too many attempts message when logging in or registering.
To protect accounts, Todario temporarily limits repeated failed attempts. Wait a little while and try again.
