Todario Privacy Policy

Todario ("we," "us") provides online organizing tools at todario.com, including JumpGo, and the Todario browser extension. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you register, we collect your username, email address, and password. Your password is stored in hashed form — we cannot see or retrieve it.

Content you create

We store the tabs, folders, bookmarks (page titles and web addresses), folder colors, and display preferences (such as light or dark theme) that you create in JumpGo.

API token

If you generate an API token in Settings, we store it with your account so the Todario browser extension can connect to your account. The extension stores a copy of this token locally in your browser.

Information sent by the browser extension

The Todario extension only sends information to Todario when you take an action:

• When you click Save, it sends the title and web address of the page you are currently viewing.
• When you choose "Import Bookmarks to my JumpGo," it sends your browser's bookmarks (titles, web addresses, and folder names) so you can preview and confirm the import. Imports you don't confirm are automatically deleted after one hour.

The extension does not track your browsing, read page content, or send any information in the background.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers automatically log technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

To protect against automated abuse, our registration page uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes information such as your IP address and browser characteristics to verify you're human. Turnstile does not use cookies. We also temporarily record the IP address of registration and login attempts to limit abuse; these records are deleted after 24 hours.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Provide, maintain, and secure your Todario account and features
• Save and display your bookmarks and settings
• Respond to support requests you send us
• Detect and prevent abuse or security issues

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How Information Is Shared

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:

• Hosting: our website and database are hosted by a third-party hosting provider that stores data on our behalf.
• Favicons: to display website icons next to your bookmarks, JumpGo requests them from Google's favicon service. This sends the domain name of each bookmark (for example, "example.com") — not the full address — to Google when your bookmarks are displayed.
• Verification: our registration page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify you're human, which shares information such as your IP address and browser characteristics with Cloudflare — see "Information collected automatically" above.
• Legal requirements: if required by law, or to protect the security of our service or users.
• Business transfer: if Todario is merged, acquired, or its assets are sold, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use Disclosure

The use of information received from the Todario browser extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We use data from the extension only to provide its user-facing features: saving pages and importing bookmarks into your JumpGo.
• We do not transfer this data to others except as necessary to provide these features, to comply with applicable law, or for security purposes, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• We never use or transfer this data to serve advertisements, including personalized, retargeted, or interest-based ads.
• We do not allow humans to read this data, except with your explicit consent (for example, when you ask for help with a specific issue), when necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or when the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored using one-way hashing. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Data Retention and Your Choices

We keep your account information and content for as long as your account exists. You can edit or delete your tabs, folders, and bookmarks at any time within JumpGo. You can regenerate your API token in Settings at any time, which immediately disconnects any extension using the old token.

To request a copy of your data, correct your information, or delete your account and all associated data, contact us at admin@todario.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Todario is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the site.
